According to a source familiar with political developments in the Progressives Congress, Otunba Bush advised some challengers to the incumbent lawmaker, noting that retuning Sanni for a second term would bring more prosperity and progress to Kosofe Constituency 1.

Perhaps Otunba Bush is speaking from his wealth of experience and exposure as a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, who sees first-term lawmakers as a period of learning the ropes of legislation.

Several stakeholders have endorsed the lawmaker for a second term.

Recently, former Kosofe Local Government Executive Secretary and Kosofe Chapter of Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT Movement) Coordinator, Honourable Gbemisola Ketiku, and his numerous supporters, have endorsed the lawmaker for a second term.

Okanlawon is yet to declare for a second term, but he’s currently enjoying massive support and endorsements from political stakeholders ahead of the May 11 primary election of the party.
