Former Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area Secretary-to the Local Government, Honourable Gbanga Osobu, has confirmed his intention to contest for the Kosofe Constituency 2 seat.
He made this known in a short statement made available to Kosofe Post in the early hours of today.
Osobu, who is running on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, noted further that he has consulted the party stakeholders.
While noting in the statement that he will make a formal declaration after picking up his nomination and expression of interest forms, he said his consultation is still ongoing.

Osobu participated in the 2020 Kosofe Constituency 2 bye election won by the incumbent lawmaker, Honourable Femi Saheed, who is reportedly seeking to return to the house for a fresh mandate.
He also participated in the 2021 Local Government Chairmanship race. However, it was withdrawn for the incumbent Executive Chairman of Agboyi Ketu Lcda, Mayor Dele Oshinowo.
As the NWC of All Progresives Congress finally released the primary election timetable, more aspirants are expected to join the race ahead of next month’s election.
