The former Secretary to Local Government of the Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development area of Lagos, Hon. Gbenga Osobu, has described as unfortunate the false and misleading public interview credited to the APC’s candidate for Kosofe Federal constituency, Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara, claiming she had reached out to the incumbent lawmaker, Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye, after her emergence as the party flagbear.
He said, “I don’t know why Kafilat has chosen to misinform the public. Kafilat has not contacted us at this moment. And I don’t know the aspirant she’s talking about. The public has been misinformed. ROT was never reached by kafilat.”
He, however, said that they are particularly committed to the APC presidential candidate, Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu, and Babajide Sanwoolu as Lagos State governor’s projects.
He added, “Whoever chooses to underrate us is doing so at their own peril.”
The Kosofe Post (KP)earlier reported that the May 27 emergence of Kafilat Ogbara as APC flagbearer was followed by a massive protest by Agunsoye’s supporters and Engr.
Abiodun Awokoya’s, who is also a contestant in the House of Representatives primary election.
