Former PDP House of reps aspirant joins Labour party in Kosofe

Former People’s Democratic Party candidate for the Federal Constituency House of Representatives in 2007 in Kosofe joined the Labour Party.

The Ward ‘J’ area of Kosofe Local Government PDP leader, Princess Roseline Folarin, was among the stakeholders that attended the Labour Party Coordinator meeting held at Funplex Garden (Park and Rides), Shangisha, Magodo, Kosofe, Lagos.

Since the PDP’s House of Assembly, House of Representatives, senatorial, and governorship primaries in May 2022, many aspirants and members have reportedly defected to other political parties.

These include the party’s 2020 Lagos East senatorial district bye election candidate, Babatunde Gbadamosi; the 2019 senatorial candidate, Mrs. Abiodun Oyefusi; and 2023 Governorship aspirant, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour, among others.

It would be recalled that Kosofe Post ( KP) reported that a former PDP aspirant for Kosofe Constituency 2 Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Samad Okufuwa, dumped the party for the Labour party.
