Ahead of the forthcoming primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the party will elect delegates from the 10 electoral wards of Kosofe Local Government Area in Lagos State.
The exercise will take place at Oworonshoki, Ifako-Gbagada, Anthony Mende Maryland, Ogudu Ojota, Ketu-Alapere, IKosi Ketu, Isheri-olowoira, Agboyi 1, Agboyi 2 & 3, Ajegunle owode Onirin, respectively, on April 30, 2022.
The ward delegates to elected and statutory delegates will determine who will be the Federal House of Representatives, Senate, and Governorship candidates of the party.
While each of the delegates elected in Nigeria’s 774 local government areas in the coming days, along with each state’s statutory delegates, will determine the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections.
The party has been consistent with its style of indirect primary in choosing its standard flagbearers.
