Hon. Ganiyu Okanlawon a member of the House of Assembly has listed his stewardship on why he deserve another term to represent the good people of Kosofe 1 comes 2023.
I am seeking for a second term because I have been adjudged a performing legislator and I can see that it is only when i have the second term that I can do more for my Constituents
I have the brand, the energy and passion for growth and development and i believe that my Constituency has not benefits anything yet.
As far as I have performed, i still see it as infinitesimal because there is a lot to offer my people in terms of infrastructural development of our constituency, in terms of impacting on the lives of our people.
You see for every lock, there is a key and for every challenge there is a solution and i want to tell you here that i am the key to the locks of my constituency.
I am the solution provider to the infrastructural development, livelihood improvements of my Constituency.
Nobody else can do it better and i had one of my contestants saying that he is contesting for better representation, what better representation?
Do you change a winning team? I am delivering dividends of democracy practically and we can’t leave Kosofe for a baby politicians because it is for a tested, trusted and a ready person.
I have done it before and i will do it again. While i was in the cabinet of the erstwhile governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, I performed excellently well and as an honorable, i did my best to ensure that the people are well represented.
My colleagues have been envious of me saying that my Constituency has been turned into a construction sites.
When you mention about the Lagos Assembly, i am not a bench warmers legislator because I have sponsor bills, motions and carry out several oversight functions and committee works.
My people will require my good hands to continue to deliver those infrastructure development i have embarked on.
If you talked about employment, i facilitate employment 63 people are now teachers, courtesy OKLA
, i have five in Lagos State University.
In LAWMA, 120 is offering for employment right now, already 15 of my Constituency are working as LAWMA police and earning their income.
Those who are married are now married, courtesy of OKLA, and this is because I have offered them their source of their livelihood. These are the things that give me joy.
The first ever fire service station is being constructed at Oworoshoki, i initiated the idea for the executive in charge of it, and I didn’t sit at the comfort zone and expect manners to come down from heaven.
I have facilitated several road constructions and countless of rehabilitation of our road to ease commuters using the road.
I have personally sunk seven boleholes and established an ICT centres at Emmanuel Primary School and six different schools are making use of this facility.
