Deborah, Blasphemy, and other stories

The tragic death of Deborah Yakubu in Sokoto state is totally unacceptable and all her sick killers must be arrested for prosecution but if we think from another perspective, this lady (Deborah) crossed her boundaries by calling Prophet Muhammed(S.A.W) rubbish/nonsense in front of extremely fanatical Muslims.
From the translated voice notes, Deborah boasted that nothing would happen to her, probably banking on “freedom of expression.”

This Deborah cannot claim to be totally ignorant of the warped mindset of Muslims among her fellow students/coursemates in Sokoto state. Was she so high on cheap expired drugs?

Deborah failed to apply wisdom. Nobody with a conscience will support her brutal murder. Let’s hope the Sokoto state govt will arrest all her killers and let them face the full wrath of the law.

All the brainwashed Muslims who are trying to justify this crime against humanity on many social media platforms must be closely monitored and if possible, arrested by the police for interrogation.

It is an open secret that many Nigerian (Northern) Muslims always behave as if they are more “Islamic” than the Saudi Arabians. Maybe due to ignorance, stupidity, insanity, or lack of deeper knowledge of Islam.

Islam is a religion of peace but many criminals are constantly hiding behind this noble religion to unleash violence and hatred in society. It is now the duty of non-fanatical Muslims to caution and control these brain-damaged hoodlums and animals in human skins.

Many years ago, a fanatical “born-again” Christian lady suddenly entered the University of Ibadan mosque and shouted, “All Muslims must accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour or go to hellfire.” That was a provocative act and not an attempt to win souls for Jesus Christ.

It was the Imam and other mosque exco members who saved her. In this type of case, this Christian lady stupidly crossed her boundary as if cursed by her village.(Google this story.)

Religion is a personal choice. Don’t force people to follow your religious beliefs. This is the 21st century, not the stone-age era. It is a free world. Religion cannot put the entire human race in bondage.

Many Nigerians are just hypocritically religious but demon lives permanently in their troubled hearts. That’s the bitter truth.

Let’s assume when we all get to heaven(imagine there is no heaven, according to John Lennon), nobody was asked about religions while on earth but how we treated fellow human beings while still alive. How we defended and fed many poor souls around us. How we spoke the raw truth to oppressors and wicked leaders.

What will now happen to all the brainwashed people who carried religions on their sick heads as if selling Agege bread? Tell me if you know.

It is just unthinkable that Deborah’s fellow students murdered her in broad daylight. The future of Nigeria is very bleak with students with this dangerous mindset. Violent Leaders of tomorrow?

Fellow Nigerians, the brutal death of Deborah Yakubu must send a strong signal to all the murderers and fanatical adherents of imported religions that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I rest my case for now. Thank you.
