The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer FHA, Senator Gbenga Ashafa will remain focused on his mandate despite his decision not to run for re-election in 2023.

Senator Gbenga Ashafa, who represented Lagos East from 2011 to 2019, contested for a third term but lost to the late Senator Bayo Osinowo before Senator Tokunbo Abiru was elected in a by-election in 2020.

He was among the dedicated, committed, and loyal APC lawmakers representing Lagos Central, Remi Tinubu, and Lagos West, Solomon Olamilekan.

The All Progressives Congress conceded a third-term automatic ticket for him before Osinowo truncated his return.

Unlike some politicians hoping to return to power by moving from one constituency to another, Senatorial District to Senatorial District, and state to state on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, however, he chose to remain focused on his mandate to provide more housing geared towards addressing the housing deficit across the country for citizens.
