Kosofe Constituency 1 House of Assembly primary election postponed again

The Lagos State House of Assembly Primary Election has been postponed thrice without a clear winner.The primary election, earlier scheduled to be held on Wednesday, was shifted to Friday.

However, controversy over the 20 delegate lists led to its cancellation on Saturday again.

The tough contest is between the first-term incumbent lawmaker, Honourable Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon, who is the House Committee Chairman on Education, and his close rival, Lanre Carew, FCA.

Meanwhile, in Kosofe Constituency 2, Hon. Femi Saheed, after his major opponent, Yacoob Balogun, sponsored by Rotimi Agunsoye, stepped down from the race, the total of 30 delegates’ votes was delivered to Femi Saheed to affirm him as the unopposed candidate of the party.
