LP Primary Election: Kosofe Rep. aspirant, Olayiwola withdraws from race

The Labour Party Kosofe Federal Constituency Aspirant, Hon. Folorunso Olayiwola has declared his intention to withdraw from the party’s primary election race.

Olayiwola made this known in a statement in Lagos on Friday.

The aspirant explained that he was withdrawing from the race to give support to a more energetic, young and structure and promising aspirant to achieve a collective desire result.

“I will be officially withdrawing from the contest but will be on the mission by collapsing my structure for a bright, young, energetic and promising aspirant with whom.

“This is in order to achieve the desire result of changing the narrative and returning all the ancestors of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) to their political grave.

“I am once again extremely grateful to my firm supporter who believe in me and stood firm even with my absence in the country.

“I say thank you for the calls, for the concern even when you all heard of the compromise before me,” he said

Olayiwola said that he was extremely grateful for the show of support and determination that his supporters had exhibited in the very short while that he chose to join the race.

He reminded that his mission was to rescue the constituency from the hands of the ‘Maradonas and the Abacha’ that had turn representation of kosofe people to their birth right.

According to him, they seat in Maryland at old age to finger with the destiny of their children in the name of Leader. By our resolution, our vote, our PVC, we will put them to shame sooner than they think.

Olayiwola said in wake of event surrounding my declaration for the House of Reps, there had been high level inter party permutation among major political party with the platform he had chose to contest with.

He said the result of which was a glaring compromise to sabotage our effort to dislodge the PDP & APC.

The aspirant said in view of these event, he had resolve not to lose focus on the “Rescue Kosofe Mission”, and chose to win the battle via another means.

Finally, he urged his supporters to safeguard their PVC, while they continue to mobilise more people for it.

Olayiwola said it was obvious that the fear was high within the demi-god parties, hence all effort to frustrate their effort and PVC mobilisation.
