The honourable member representing Kosofe Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Femi Saheed, on Tuesday bagged an Exemplary Leadership Award at the Lagos State Parents Forum.
LSPF organized and presented the award during an interfaith special prayer for the lawmaker at the state Assembly.
In his acceptance speech, Hon.Femi Saheed, a multiple award winner and All Progressives Congress candidate for Kosofe Constituency 2 in the 2023 general elections, reiterated his commitment towards improving the standard of education, economic and security, among others.

The honourable expressed his faith and belief in the Nigerian youths to change the narrative of governance and leadership, thereby taking the nation to its rightful position in the community of great nations.
He also thanked the organizers for coming up with such an initiative at this period and for also deeming him worthy of the honour for the few things he did within one year in office, as he sees it as a call for him to do more in terms of good governance and quality representation, which he promises to.
The Lagos Parents Forum is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-partisan organization.
The committee, chaired by Pastor Sunday Olugbemi, is committed to improving the standard of education across the state.
Sunday described the lawmaker as a vibrant youth and an exceptional leader, noting that the award was given to him in recognition of his outstanding performance during his brief tenure in office.
“He did a wonderful thing for our own children in Kosofe Constituency 2 within a year in office. He did a marvelous job by providing school buses, donating over 400 chairs and benches, a bursary, and building classrooms for our students,” Pastor Sunday Olugbemi said.
