Prominent members of the Lagos Chapter of the Buhari Youths Organization, to contest the 2023 general elections on the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
The groups are part of the outgoing President, Muhammad Buhari, and numerous social political groups that campaigned in 2015 and 2019 for the President’s twice-victory.
The group, leading the pack of contestants on the platform of the NNPP, included the former Lagos State coordinator of BYO, Abdulwahid Omotayo Onanuga, contesting for the Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos seat.

The general Secretary of the group, Mr. Rasaq Aderibigbe, is contesting for Ikorodu Constituency 1, Lagos State House of Assembly.
Also, Jide Bakare, contesting for Kosofe constituency 2, and several other members of BYO are contesting for elective positions across the state.
