The Kosofe Local Government Revenue Chairman, Mr. Olalekan Akala, was allegedly attacked at Gidida Pali, Ojota, on Wednesday morning.
He was reportedly attacked by the same set of thugs and street urchins that disrupted and carried out a series of attacks on the All Progressives Congress Kosofe Chapter LGA Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Belo, and party officials a few weeks back.
A source hinted that the council’s revenue chairman, Akala, was beaten up while carrying out his official duty on the fateful day.
Three days after the incidents, there’s no official reaction from Kosofe Local Government condemning the recurring attacks on government officials and politicians, among others.
Recall that not long ago, thugs invaded the council headquarters to attack management staff and others.
