Residents of Alade Lawal, Mudi Line, and Olorunlogbon, part of Kosofe Local Government Area, are heaving a sigh of relief as they now smoothly ride in and out of their residential areas.

This follows a gesture by a philanthropist, Mr. Jimoh Sebioniga aka Kuye, who embarked on palliative work on the road’s access road in the community.

A visit to the affected roads revealed many failed portions of the road were filled and some drainages were cleared, among others.

Sebioniga told the KosofePost that some programs and projects cannot be left to the government alone to fix.

He said, “We can leave everything to the government alone, although the government’s responsibility is to provide good roads, health, security, and other social amenities for all.”

Kuye, however, noted that the government can’t be all places for the people.

He added, “We should think about what we can do to help the government and to help ourselves in our various societies.”
