Speaking on the massively protested Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos primary election, she said, “As you know, we eventually got to know that there had been a nomination, and the party nominated Alhaja Kafilat Ogbara to be the candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency.
“And we all, at one time or the other, pledge that we will always support the position of the party. That’s my own position. The party says this is what they want and we go with it.
I’m just going to appeal to all of us because that’s what we promised: we’ll embrace the party, which is superior to me and every other candidate. and such, we have to go with the party.
“I am appealing that we all come together.” We are at a crucial time. We have all been given a baby to carry, “Omo Ko gbodo Jabo lowo wa”.
While commending Nigerians for turning out en masse during the just concluded continuous voter registration, she urged them to collect their permanent voters’ cards (PVCs).
She advises Nigerians not to succumb to harassment and intimidation while assuring them of credible and transparent 2023 general elections.
She added, “It’s not just enough to collect the PVCs; we have to be there, we have to vote, we have to lend our voice.
“Let’s vote for the candidates of our party, the APC, because honestly, what we have we should hold on to. We don’t have it, we are not sure of it, but this one that we have, let’s not lose it. If we lose it, it may be difficult to get it back.
“Also, we are not sure of what we are going to see at the other end. “Let’s all be united and APC must not collapse in our hands,” Oluwalogbon appealed.”
