The head of the camera unit and production department of Biscon Communications (BisconTV), Olumide Olusoga, popularly known as Otunba Baale, clocks a year older on September 7, 2022.
The German-trained celebrity photojournalist and cameraman specializing in documentaries and event coverage had over 15 years of experience.
He has being to virtually all states in Nigeria, from covering events, and documentaries of Atiku Abubakar’s first son, Adamu Atiku’s wedding, President Jonathan’s daughter’s wedding, Billionaire Alhaja Bola Shagaya’s wedding, Dangote’s daughter’s wedding in Kano, Sultan of Sokoto’s wedding in Sokoto and his 10th Anniversary on the throne, Chief Mike Adenuga’s wedding in Lagos.
Others include Chief Mike Igbinedion’s daughter’s wedding in South Africa; the 80th birthday of Chief Igbinedion in London, South Africa, and Ghana; the 2010 World Cup in South Africa; and the commissioning of Dangote Cement companies in Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Congo, and Cameroon.
The coronation ceremonies of many kings in Nigeria, such as Ooni of Ife, Alake of Egba, Sultan of Sokoto, former Emir of Kano, HRM Sanusi Lamido, Akarigbo of Remo, Oba Alara of Ilara Epe, Oniru of Iruland, etc.
The documentaries covered include Akwa Ibom state under the administration of Senator Akpabio; Gombe State under Goje; Gov. Peter Odili and Gov Wike in Rivers state; Afe Babalola University in Ekiti state; American University in Adamawa state; Unilag; and many others.
