Hon. Lanre Carew has declared his intention to contest the constituency seat on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
He declared his ambition to his supporters during a stakeholders meeting held across Kosofe on Thursday, shortly after returning from a business trip.
Carew was among the contestants that contested for the Kosofe constituency 1 ticket on the platform of the APC last May 2022.
However, he was dissatisfied with the election outcome in favour of the first term lawmaker, Hon. Sanni Ganiu Okanlanwo.
According to Kosofe Post findings, Carew purchased about 11 units of Golf cars worth millions in 2019 for an APC candidate’s campaign and gifted the cars to party members for personal use after the campaign.
In 2020, he purchased several Sienna buses for the Lagos East senatorial district bye-election.
