2023: Ibrahim Balogun may clinch Kosofe Constituency 2 ticket
The Kosofe Post reported that he resigned his membership from the PDP following the outcome of the May 22nd primary election.
However, according to the candidate list released by the independent Electoral Commission, Samad, who reportedly aligned with Prof. Ifagbemi Awamaridi’s faction of the Labour Party, lost his ticket to Adeyemi Hammed.
He gathered that his refusal to join forces with the Salako faction that produced Rhodes-Vivour Gbadebo Patrick as the Lp Governorship flagbearer in Lagos caused him to lose his ticket.
