The outgoing lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos, Honourable Rotimi Agunsoye, has surpassed his predecessor’s benchmarks since special attention focused on him since 2018.

The Kosofe Post reports that he has several life-impacting motions and bills sponsored to his credit.

He facilitated the construction of a classroom block, an ICT building, a hospital, a police station, and industrial boreholes throughout Kosofe.

Also, for some of his constituents who may not know the importance of the motions and bills he sponsored and co-sponsored, zonal intervention projects he pushed, he equally facilitated empowerment programmes to cushion the degree of poverty and hunger in Kosofe.

He distributed minibuses, tricycles, sewing machines, laptops, digital cameras, vulcanizing machines, grinding machines, hairdressing kits, generators, freezers, skill acquisition, and start-up capital almost quarterly over a few years. Grants ranging from N50,000 to N100,000 are available.

However, no single public empowerment program in the last three quarters of 2022 has been credited to the lawmaker. This may be unconnected with the party’s House of Representatives ticket, which the party conceded to a female candidate in the history of Kosofe politics that prevented his return to the green chamber as a ranking legislator.
