The publisher of the online newspaper, The Kosofe Post (KP), Mr. Bilesnami Abayomi, has joined residents of Kosofe to celebrate media guru, Olusegun Apena’s appointment.
In a personal statement signed by the Bilesanmi, he congratulated Apena on behalf of the KP management team.
“On behalf of my humble self and Kosofe Post Management, we say a big congratulations on your appointment by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Rtd. Femi Gbajabiamila, as Senior Legislative Aide.
“As you know, this appointment comes with great responsibilities and unconventional demands requiring candor, discipline, professionalism, loyalty, focus, diligence, and the highest level of service.”
He further assured him of the online media practitioners’ and publisher’s all necessary support.
“We wish you God’s guidance and the best of luck in this very important and challenging assignment.”
Similarly, Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, on Political Affairs, South-West, Prince Kehinde Oladega,Former Kosofe Vice, Hon. Segun Aka-Bashorun, and Kosofe Leader of special person, Damilola Owoyele, and several others joined in congratulating Apena.
They described him as a Patriot who well deserved the appointment.
Olusegun Apena is a prolific writer, journalist, and publisher. He attended Ladi-Lak Primary School, Bariga; Baptist Academy, Obanikoro, Lagos; and Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, where he studied Mass Communication.
He had worked for the Guardian newspaper as a reporter and news monitor. He is a native of Ibeju Agbe in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government.
Apena is presently the APC Legal Adviser in Ward C, Kosofe Local Government Area.
