The Lagos State Assembly Chairman House Committee on Health, Hon. Hakeem Olushola Sokunle and other Committee members on Wednesday 26th October, 2022 paid a working visit to Kosofe Local Government.
The vice chairman, Hon.Oluwole Sosanya on behalf of the Executive Chairman, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe warmly received the August visitors to the Primary Health Center in Ogudu.
The Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Shokunle explained that it is one of the oversight functions of the Committee to tour Health facilities in the 20 Local Governments and the 37 Local Council Development Areas in the State to ensure all health facilities are in good conditions to provide good health service delivery to the good people of the State.
The chairman and his entourage were taken round the wards, male and female wards, the pharmacy, the materials child care e.t c.
Hon. Sokunle commended members of staff of the different departments within the health center and encouraged them to keep up the good work; he also enjoined them to contribute their own quota to support the state government in the area of development so that every citizen will enjoy good medical health care service.
In addition, he commended the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe and the Medical officer of Health Dr. Oguntoyinbo for their unrelenting efforts in maintaining the healthcare facilities while he assured that there would be results where repairs and renovations are required.
Dr. Oguntoyinbo remarked on the need to change some obsolete equipment in the health center for better healthcare service delivery
