The Social Democratic Party candidate for Kosofe Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Al-Maroof Muhammed Adeleye, has said that he remains the only candidate of the SDP for the March 2023 state assembly election.
The former councillor representing Ward B under the Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area, Kosofe, made the disclosure while chatting on Monday evening over his out-of-race reports making the rounds.
He noted that he was not aware of such He added, “But I remain the only candidate of the SDP for state assembly, Kosofe Constituency 2.”
Al-Maroof stressed further that the SDP is fully prepared for the race in Kosofe constituency.
The flag bearer of the SDP, alongside other opposition party candidates, will be battling the incumbent lawmaker, Hon. Femi Saheed, for the soul of Kosofe Constituency 2 seat in next year’s March Lagos State House of Assembly poll.
