Oba Agboyi donates writing materials to riverine school to mark coronation anniversary

Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, the Olu Agboyi, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA has donated writing materials to one of the riverine primary school in Agboyi-Ketu in Lagos.

Oladega made this known at the Day Seven of the Coronation Programme near his palace in Agboyi-Ketu, Lagos on Thursday.

Kosofe Post recalled that Day One was the upgrade and Installation of White Cap Chiefs,, Day Two is Meeting with Olori and White Caps. Day Three is installation of Baales and Thanksgiving Service.

Day Four is the Senior Citizens of the Olu Agboyi and Cultural Display by Agemo and Gelede while Day Five is the Blood Donations by Red Cross and the Indoor Ibile Games. Day Six is the Installation of the Chiefs

Oladega, the Akinmasa 1, Arole Owoyele of the kingdom said the donations of writing materials to the Pupils of Agboyi Primary School was to celebrate his second year coronation with the children.

He noted that 500 pupils of Agboyi Primary School would be distributed with exercise books, writing materials among others to aid their studies.

The monarch urged the pupils to face their academic because they were the leaders of tomorrow and the world were looking up to them.

Appreciating, one of the pupils, Miss Kehinde Taiwo thanked the traditional ruler for the donations of the exercise book to them.

Tauwo said to whom much is given, more is expected, adding that the pupils would make their parent proud by working hard on their studies.
