Sanwo-Olu’s commissioner, Arobieke welcomes 500 new members in Agboyi-Ketu Ward C

The Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Lagos State, Mrs Yetunde Arobieke, has welcomed no fewer than 500 new members to the Ward C Agboyi-Ketu LCDA in Lagos State.

Arobieke, the former Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, made this known at the Ward C meeting which was organised by the the planning committee of ward C on Thursday in Lagos.

The Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s commissioner assured the new entrants of equal treatment with other members of the party.
She promised to carry the new members along, while calling on them to use their wealth of experience in politics to ensure the success of the party at the forthcoming 2023 General Elections.

Sanwo-Olu’s aide said their decision to join the party especially at this auspicious time had shown their collective zeal to support the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and others candidates in the state.

Arobieke said Lagos State was lucky to have a presidential candidate that was vying to become the president of the country, urging members of their total support for the former governor of the state.

She said on behalf on their leader in Kosofe, Bush Alebiosu, Otunba Shosanya and to all others leaders in Kosofe noted that the members were ready to start the campaign in all the nooks and cranny in Agboyi-Ketu.

“We said Lagos State want to produce the president, do you think it is a joke and Asiwaju has done so much for you and I even when he was the governor of the state.

” Even those that just joined us today won’t be left out and they will also be rewarded by our presidential candidate because Asiwaju do not know anything other than to ensure welfarism of all members of the party.

“His good deed to members is not only in Lagos State, but other states, and not only in Nigeria but others African States, not only in African states but globally.

” A global personality want to become the president of the country, and he is from Lagos State, so if we start our campaign from ward to ward and street to street, is it too much to do for him? It is not too much.

“Not to talk of our amiable governor, Mr Talk and Do, Mr Sellable, he doesn’t has opponent as far as am concern, he is a competent governor.

” Even when Gov. Nysom Wike of Rivers State came to our programme in Lagos also acknowledged that ‘As the thing they sweet us, he dey pain them’ because our father will soon become the president of the country.

“Also, our brother, the sellable governor of the state who does nothing than the excellent service is ready to return and we are ready to return him in the forthcoming election.”

Earlier in his opening remark, the Agboyi-Ketu APC Chairman, Mr Sunday Odekomaya urged party members to commence work in their various resident towards the victory of all the candidates in the general election.

Odekomaya noted that the party had promised to ensure adequate supports in terms of monetary value to members who were ready to work for the party as agents and canvassers.

The party chieftain urged aggrieved members that this was the time to forgive one another so they could move forward and for the successful outcome of the general election.

“This is the right time we can bring more members and consultation is ongoing because the party is yet to start the election campaign in Agboyi-Ketu.

“Soon, we will start the campaign and once start finish with this coming Saturday rally at the Teslim Balogun Stadium then we will have the Senatorial East Campaign then we will now move to Local government campaign.

“Our leaders asked me to inform members that polling units that have the highest mark will be highly rewarded.”

Odekomaya said the party had commenced meeting for the elderly people from 60 years and above for both men and women.

He said the women that were above 60 years had a meeting at Ikosi-Isheri council hall at 12.00 p.m. on Friday.

The council party chairman said the party was expecting 30 women from 60 years and above from each wards in the Kosofe LGA.

Alhaji Lawali Lalala, who spoke with Kosofe Post on behalf of the new members said that their decision was as a result of their conviction with the development strive by the APC-led government in the state.

Lalala promised their total loyalty and support to all the APC candidates and assured to work together with the party leadership in ensuring its success at the forthcoming general elections.
