Our correspondent gathered that Davies, popularly known as Alhaja, was suspended on Monday by the leadership of the party in the presence of the Kosofe two Governor Advisory Council (GAC) leaders, Hon. member representing Kosofe constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, and the Council’s chairman, Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe.

The details of her anti-party activities are yet to be made known to the general public. However, the source said the party leaders accused Davies of hobnobbing with the opposition and pledging to work against the party’s candidates.

A source confirmed the suspension to our correspondent on Saturday.

“Yes, it is true. It’s a decision taken at the ward level,” the source said.

In a swift reaction, Davies dismissed the suspension, saying those behind it were lying.

She said, “That’s a big lie; they wrote a letter to me, which they went to submit at Acme, and I have written a rejoinder, which I have submitted to them.”

She further noted that she didn’t receive any letter of any Kangaroo suspension to that effect.
