The Center of Excellent of Lagos this Saturday went glamour as the lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency and Chairman, House of Representative Committee on SDGs, Hon. (Prince), Rotimi Agunsoye and his wife gave their daughter’s hand in marriage.
Dignitaries including politicians, captain of Industries, academics, religious and traditional leaders as well as top government functionaries were present at the colorful ceremony.
Chairman of the occasion, and Honourable , Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Olorunnimbe Mamora, attended the engagement ceremony held at the Haven event centre in the afternoon.
Others who attended the traditional wedding include: Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Adetokubo Abiru, Former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Senator Anthony Adefuye, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, and Mrs Salamatu Gbajabiamila, wife of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep.Femi Gbajabiamila.
Others are: Member of House of Representatives Eti-Osa Federal Constituency,Hon. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro, Oshodi-Isolo constituency 2, Hon. Ganiyu Johnson, and Hon Samuel Adejare, representing Agege Constituency, and others.
The event was also witnessed by others dignitaries including: Wife of Lagos State Governor, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-olu, Representatives of Oba Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu; White Cap Chiefs, Oba of Ijebu-Jesha, Elegboro of Egboro, Oba Moses Oluwafemi Agunsoye II, Olu of Agboyi, Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, Alaketu of Ketu Oba Isiaka Adio Oyero Balogun, and other traditional leaders.
Also in attendance are Farm city International Chairman, Lanre Carew, ace broadcaster, Chief Bisi Olatilo, politicians, captain of industry, expertiate and thousands of the bride parents and Agunsoye supporters.
The event started with engagement ceremony and guests were later treated to a reception anchored by popular MC, Babajide Guerrero assisted by ace Broadcaster Ibrahim Oladega, DJ Crowd Kontroller and foremost Nigerian Gospel star, shuga band.
The couples Oluwaromade Agunsoye and Prodigo Weto Tukala who could not hide their joy were full of gratitude to God and well meaning Nigerians that graced the event.
