A member of the All Progressives Congress, Olusegun Apena, has threatened to reveal the monthly royalty paid from public funds to APC-Governor Advisory Council leaders in Kosofe.

The Kosofe Post reports that over the years, an undisclosed amount has been paid to the GAC leader and APC chieftains by the three local councils in Kosofe.

According to Apena, “I know how much our two GAC leaders are getting from each local council in the larger Kosofe to the detriment of party members, and I will come up with more details on it very soon.”

While assuring the public of full disclosure, he noted that the Independent Corruption Practices Commission (ICPC) would be petition over the matter to ascertain its constitutionality or legality.

It should be noted that KP’s reported All Progressives Congress has remained the ruling party at the same time the opposition parties in across Kosofe have continued to tackle themselves as general elections approach.
