Lagos East Decide: Abiru, Abdulwaheed leads in an online poll

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2023 election, Senator Adetokubo Abiru, who represents Lagos East Senatorial District is leading in an online poll organized by Nigerians ahead of the February 25 senate election. 

The poll that posed the question of “Who should be senator for Lagos East 2023?” featured the candidates and party names.

The candidates included Imumolen Ehjjele Benedict-A, Ashiru George Olalekan-ADC, Abiru Mikhail Adetokubo, Olowolayemo Temitope Temitayo-BP, Lawal Nurudesn Folohunso-NNPP, Ediale O. Christopher-NRM, Akobada Nicholas-PDP, Oluwaranmilowo Mayowa-SDP, and Obadiaru Charles Imuenoghomwen-YPP
As of 5:48 a.m. on December 10, Abiru of the APC had garnered 469 votes, Ashiru George Olalekan of the ADC had 126 votes, and Akobada of the PDP had 50 votes, respectively.
Similarly, in Kosofe Federal Constituency, candidates featured in the poll included Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga (NNPP), Adepegba Florence Bodunrinsola (PDP), Ogbara Adetola Kafilat (APC), Adeyemi Justin (ADC), Ogundiji Mary (SDP), and Jimoh Omotoke Grace (Grace).

In response to the poll question, “Who should be the Representative for Kosofe in 2023?” As of 6:22 a.m. on December 10, Abdulwaheed of the NNPP got 11 votes, Florence of the PDP got 7 votes, Ogbara of the APC got 5 votes, Justin of the ADC got 4 votes, Mary of the SDP got one vote, and Grace of the A Party got one vote each.

The poll clearly shows that the APC’s Lagos East Senatorial District candidate, Senator Adetokubo Abiru, and Abdulwaheed Omotayo of the NNPP are leading in the online poll.
