Sagamu-Benin Expressway Fire Accident: Lagos council boss, APC candidates visit victims

The Executive Chairman of Agboyi Ketu LCDA, in Lagos State, Mayor Dele Osinowo on New Year eve led the Candidates of Kosofe All Progressives Congress to visit the victims of Sagamu-Benin Expressway fire accident that occurred recently.

Seven passengers burnt on Sagamu-Benin expressway

The Kosofe Post reports that the lone accident occurred a few metres away from Odogbolu junction along the Sagamu-Benin expressway.

The fire victims were on there way to a programme tagged Al-Mu’minaat Training Forum (ATF) at Vanguard Academy, Odosengolu near Ijebu-ode, Ogun State.

The annual training programme was organised by the national body Al-Mu’minaat (The Believing Women) Organisation.

The bus marked AGL 886 YD suddenly exploded with flames from the engine side.

Seven persons lost their lives, while 10 currently receiving treatment at different hospitals including Gbagada General Hospital and National Orthopaedic Hospital.

The All Progressives Congress Candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Mrs Kafilat Ogbara; House of Assembly Kosofe Constituency II, Femi Saheed, were among led the delegation to the victims.
