Anthony Mende Maryland (Ward C), Kosofe Chapter of the People Democratic Party Executives and members have instructed its ward chairman to summon a party chieftain, Chief Michael Taiye Oyero (MTO), over allegedly collecting 50,000 from SDP candidate Lanre Carew.

In continuation of SDP candidate consultation across Kosofe constituency 1, at Oyero’s Bar at Ajao Estate, Anthony was used to hosting some artisans among others.

After the consultation meeting with the group of people, Lanre Carew showed love to his guests, and the bar owner, Oyero, who is a prominent PDP leader, gifted the sum of N50,000.

MTO, who initially denied the cash gifts when confronted, reportedly said nobody can dictate to him.

PDP members who described his actions as anti-party and anti-candidate have called on the ward chairman to set up a disciplinary committee to investigate him.

Party faithful insisted he must be questioned because he earlier called for Abdul Adenekan’s suspension when he was noticed with Labour Party Deputy Governor Candidate, Abiodun Oyefusi, during her tour in the ward.

Similarly, Adelekan allegedly worked stylishly for the Labour Party.
Former Councilor representing Mende-Maryland Kosofe Local Government area under the PDP, Abdul Adelekan, has been accused of working for the Labour Party.

The former councilor of the party not too long ago reported accompanying Lagos State Labour Party Deputy Governor, Mrs. Abiodun Oyefusi, to distribute some palliatives within Mende.

Abdul’s actions angered his party, the People’s Democratic Party, which had accused him of activities, among others.

He was summoned to Oyero Bar, where he denied working for labor but only assisted Oyefusi during her community outreach program.

Calls and messages sent to Abdul were not returned.

When Oyero was contacted over the alleged anti-parties, he told our reporter, “My friend, get out of my phone.”
