Kosofe Federal Constituency 2 – Hon. Samuel Adebayo Olarenwaju, a former aspirant for the All Progressives Congress House of Assembly in Kosofe constituency 2, has congratulated President-elect Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu on his victory.
In a press statement, Hon. Olarenwaju expressed his confidence that Tinubu is the best-prepared man to bring renewed hope to Nigerians.
Olarenwaju prayed that Tinubu’s reign as president would usher in unity, peace, and progress, as well as social, economic, and political developments beyond the expectations of the citizens.
He also called on residents of Kosofe Federal constituency to come out en masse and cast their votes massively to re-elect Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to sustain ongoing developments across the state.
The President of Succor Health and Education Foundation noted that Governor Sanwoolu should be re-elected to prevent abandoned projects and ensure the completion of ongoing Demurin street, Agidi, Church Street, and other landmark projects across Kosofe and Lagos State.
Hon. Olarenwaju emphasized that to make Governor Sanwoolu’s job seamless when re-elected, Kosofe state Constituencies lawmakers Hon. Femi Saheed and Hon. Sanni Okanlawon respectively should also be re-elected to further boost the chances of Kosofe having ranking lawmakers among the 40-man Lagos State House of Assembly members.
As the 2023 elections draw nearer, the call for a peaceful, free and fair election has been echoed by many stakeholders in the Nigerian polity. It is hoped that the government and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will ensure that the electoral process is transparent and fair to all candidates and parties involved.
