Lanre Carew Remains in the Race for Lagos State House of Assembly

The Kosofe Post reported that Mr. Lanre Carew, the Kosofe Constituency I Lagos State House of Assembly candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has stated that he is still featuring in the March 11 House of Assembly election.

The statement was made through the Secretary of the Lanre Carew Campaign Movement, Amusu Adedamola, in Kosofe on Wednesday.

In the statement, Carew dismissed rumours circulating on social media claiming that he had stepped down from the race, describing them as baseless and factually incorrect.

He reiterated that he is the only candidate of the SDP vying for the seat of Lagos State House of Assembly, Kosofe Constituency 1.

He urged his supporters, well-wishers, and loyalists of the Social Democratic Party to continue their efforts to request and mobilize support and votes from the electorates ahead of the March 11 election.

The Independent National Electorate Commission (INEC), the Nigerian Police, the Directorate of State Security Service (DSS), and all concerned authorities have recognized and registered Carew as the candidate of the SDP for Lagos State House of Assembly, Kosofe Constituency 1.

The statement reassures supporters that Mr. Lanre Carew remains committed to serving the people of Kosofe and is determined to secure victory at the polls on March 11.
