The Conference of Local Government Executive Secretaries in Lagos has sent their congratulatory message to the President-elect, Sen. Bola Tinubu, and the Vice President-elect, Sen. Kashim Shettima on their victory in the presidential poll.
The Chairman of the conference, Hon. Gbemisola Ketiku made this known in Lagos on Thursday.
Ketiku stated that Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election indicates that he is the preferred candidate of the Nigerian people to take them to the next level.
He added that the victory affirms the trust of the Nigerian people in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates.
In addition, Ketiku commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a successful election, which he said would lead to a new Nigeria.
He also expressed his satisfaction with the governor’s first-term performance and urged the people of Lagos to come out en masse on March 11 to re-elect Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dr. Olufemi Hamzat for a second term.
Furthermore, the chairman appealed to Igbo indigenes in the state to vote en masse for Sanwo-Olu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the March 11 governorship and House of Assembly elections.
