President of Lion Clubs Donates N15m Medical Equipment to LASUTH

President of the International Association of Lion Clubs, Ikeja LASUTH District 404B, Lion Folasade Afolabi, has donated medical equipment worth N15 million to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

The donation was made to the Chief Medical Director of LASUTH, Prof. Adetokunbo Fabanwo, on Saturday in Lagos. Lion Club International has a mission to improve health and wellbeing and to support those in need.

Afolabi noted that the procurement of the machines was important due to the inadequacy of medical equipment at the hospital, which had led to the death of several patients.

She urged the government to make hospital facilities more accessible and affordable.

The event was attended by various dignitaries, including the House of Representatives-Elect, Kosofe Federal Constituency, Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara, and the ValueJet Chairman, Hon. Adekunle Soname, who donated medical equipment worth N10 million, representatives.
