The President of the Association of Telephone, Cable, Internet Subscribers of Nigeria (ATCIS), Hon. Sina Bilesanmi has donated bags of rice and 300 packs of table water to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) Agboyi-Ketu, Ikosi-Isheri & Kosofe in Lagos State, Nigeria.

The donation was made as a gesture of support for the party members in the wake of the presidential and National Assembly election developments.

Hon. Bilesanmi said that the distribution of the food items was part of his group’s effort to give succour and put smiles on the faces of the party members. He also stated that the donation was his modest contribution to the party and a way of giving back to the people to cushion the effect of the cash crunch.

In addition to the food items donation, Hon. Bilesanmi had also previously engaged religious leaders, youth groups, and community leaders ahead of the March 11 election, which has been postponed till March 18. He encouraged all eligible voters to get their PVCs ready and go out on election day to cast their votes for Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat’s re-election to complete ongoing infrastructural development in Kosofe and across Lagos State.

Hon. Bilesanmi, who is a former Kosofe constituency 2 House of Assembly aspirant, also embarked on Door to Door walk to canvas votes for Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat’s re-election. He recently joined the LAWMA street sweepers to mark Women International Day and also sensitized women on the need to vote for progressives.

Hon. Bilesanmi encouraged women to be active partakers in the forthcoming election and said, “Though you may not see the reward for voting as expected in the future, our children and ourselves will reap the reward.”

The gesture by Hon. Bilesanmi has been widely appreciated by the APC party members and residents of Kosofe. It is hoped that more individuals and groups will take a cue from this and contribute their quota towards the development of their communities.
