Hon Sanni Okanlawon is undoubtedly the best choice for the people of Kosofe Constituency 01. His wide appeal and impressive achievements in the last three and a half years have earned him the love and confidence of his constituents. When compared to his opponents, Lanre Carew of SDP, Owoaje Gabriel Babasola of PDP, Akintunde Osikominu of LP, and Kudirat Balogun of NNPP, Hon Okanlawon’s track record stands out.
One of Hon Okanlawon’s significant achievements is the establishment of the on-going construction of an ultra-modern fire service station in Oworonshoki for greater Kosofe Constituencies. This shows his dedication to the safety and security of his constituents.
He has also facilitated the construction and repairs of 22 roads, including bridges and drainages, which has greatly improved transportation within the constituency.
Hon Okanlawon’s commitment to providing clean water for his constituents is evidenced by the construction of borehole water projects with generator sets across the wards.
His establishment of an ICT Centre in Emmanuel Primary School for use by five public schools and debate competitions among secondary schools that generated the first-ever one-day legislator demonstrates his focus on education.
In addition to these achievements, Hon Okanlawon has awarded scholarships and provided free health insurance schemes to students in tertiary institutions to the tune of N8.8m, empowered traders, artisans, and widows, facilitated the employment of doctors, nurses, and consultants into LASUTH, and other Lagos State public hospitals. He has also facilitated the employment of constituents into ministries, agencies, and parastatals such as the Fire Service, LAWMA, LBSL, LNSC, and LAWMA Waste Police.
Hon Okanlawon’s efforts to prevent loss of lives and properties is evident in his declogging of canals across the constituency. He has also established the Okla Table Tennis Academy to raise a new generation of young players from cradle to world-class champions and grassroots football tournaments tagged ‘Okla Unity Cup’ to empower and engage the youths and foster unity among communities in Kosofe Constituency 01.
In the realm of lawmaking, Hon Okanlawon has presented two bills into law: the Cooperatives bill and the Institute of legislative studies bill. He has also sponsored and co-sponsored numerous motions.
Furthermore, Hon Okanlawon has empowered over 50 constituents with POS machines worth over N80,000 each with start-up capital of N25,000, helped many constituents access medicare with personal and government funding, facilitated training/capacity building in (INVERTER RENEWABLE ENERGY), and trained constituents in different value chains of Agriculture empowerment.
He was also an integral team member and played a frontal role in the establishment of LAKE RICE and the procurement and installation of the 32 metric tonnes of RICE MILL, the biggest in Sub Saharan Africa which shall be generating over two hundred thousand employment.
In conclusion, Hon Sanni Okanlawon has undoubtedly proven himself to be the best-performing parliamentarian to ever come out of Kosofe constituency 01. The people and the electorates in Kosofe Constituency 01 would rather stay with Hon Okla than jumping into the ship of unknown contestants who are yet to be tested, let alone be trusted.
Hon Okanlawon’s record of achievements speaks for itself and it is evident that he is the right choice to represent Kosofe Constituency 01.
Mr Lanre Carew is still acting in contrary to his party decision which practically show that he is a desperado politician with zero respect to the party hierarchy and constituted authority. He should stop to disturb himself
The Kosofe people cannot afford to be in opposition in the next 4yrs most importantly with Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president of Nigeria from May 29 hence they’re comfortable and secure well with APC continuity in Kosofe constituency 1 come march 18 election.
