Governor Sanwo-Olu Attends Thanksgiving Service to Express Gratitude for Re-Election

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has attended a special church thanksgiving service to express his gratitude to God and the people of the state for his re-election for a second term in office. The governor was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr Tayo Ayinde, who made this known on Sunday in Lagos at the Special Thanksgiving Service to Commemorate Sanwo-Olu Victory in the last Gubernatorial Election.

The governor had visited the church in the build-up to the gubernatorial election to solicit support and prayers. He thanked the people of the state, the church, and the congregation for their triumphant prayers that resulted in his re-election as the governor of the state for another term in office.

The Shepherd in Charge of CCC International Headquarters Church, Ketu, Venerable Supervisor Evangelist Olatosho Matthew Oshoffa, thanked the governor for fulfilling his promise to give thanksgiving in the church after his re-election. Oshoffa urged celestial family and non-celestial to get involved in politics and governance to get a dividend of democracy. He prayed for Sanwo-Olu for a successful tenure and also prayed that his tenure would usher in peace, love, and prosperity to the people of the state.

Parochial Committee Chairperson, Prophetess Olayemi Oshoffa, appreciated God for listening to their collective prayers for Sanwo-Olu’s victory in the last election. She said that it gives her joy that His Excellency and his cabinet have the fear of God in them.

Attendance at the thanksgiving included Kosofe Constituency II lawmaker-elect, Hon. Femi Saheed, Hon. Bayo Oshiyemi (SSA Chieftaincy & Local Government Affairs), Rev. Bukola Adelele (SSA on Christian Religion), Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Executive Chairman, Princess Samiat Bada and cabinet member, APC State Youth leader, Dr. Muritala Seriki, and the Chairperson Parochial Committee of CCC International Headquarters Ketu (Head of the Parish Administration, Prophetess Olayemi Oshoffa).
