The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, felicitates with Otunba Bushira Alebiosu, an elder statesman and member of the prestigious Governance Advisory Council (GAC), on his 87th birthday.
In a statement issued by Senator Abiru’s media aide, Mr. Enitan Olukotun, on Monday described Otunba Alebiosu as a veteran political strategist who has contributed immensely to the party politics in Lagos State.
Senator Abiru commended ‘Baba Bush’ for his astuteness and resourcefulness as a revered political leader in Kosofe, Lagos East Senatorial District, and Lagos State at large.
Senator Abiru wrote, “ On behalf of my family and the good people of Lagos East Senatorial District, I celebrate our respected political Leader and elder statesman, Otunba Bushira Alebiosu on his 87th birthday.
“ ‘The Bush of Africa’, I celebrate your outstanding contributions to our great party, APC, in Lagos State. As a dyed-in-the-wool progressive, you have remained constant in your ideology of progressivism for decades without wavering. We are proud of your sir.
“Sir, let me use this occasion to thank you for your support since I was elected as the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I am also grateful for the role you, and other eminent leaders of our party in the Lagos East Senatorial District played in my re-election on 25th February, 2023.
