The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) Moyosore Ogunlewe, the Executive Members, the Legislative Arm, Management, Staff, the A.P.C family, and the entire peace-loving citizens in Kosofe, have rejoiced with Council Immediate Chairman, Hon. Afolabi Sofola on his 63rd birthday.
Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe described Hon. Afolabi Sofola as an icon, a humble and great patriot, a silent achiever, and a leader worthy of emulation who derives pleasure in the upliftment of his loyalists. He commended the former chairman’s relentlessness, selflessness, resourcefulness, and kind-hearted leadership style during his administration.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Fadipe, Ogunlewe said, “Our Ex-Chairman sir, at this age, you have proved your matchless worth as a distinguished administrator shift of leadership based on your uncommon track records and peaceful dispositions which no doubt has added value to the democratic structures in Kosofe Local Government.”
He further thanked Hon. Afolabi Sofola for his exceptional leadership and contributions to the socio-economic and political developments of Kosofe. He prayed that all his heart desires would be granted as he added another year to his age and that he would live to celebrate many more fruitful and meaningful years.
The people of Kosofe Local Government, through the Executive Chairman’s statement, expressed their gratitude to Hon. Afolabi Sofola for his outstanding service to the community and wished him many more years of good health and prosperity.
