Kosofe Post Media Support Team Member Joins Japa Movement, Relocates to the United Kingdom”

Segun Philip Ibikunle, a member of the Kosofe Post media support team, has joined the growing Japa movement. “Japa” refers to the desire of many young Nigerians to leave the country and settle abroad permanently.

Over the weekend, Segun, a Lagos State University graduate of Economics and Charted Supply Chain Management, relocated to the United Kingdom with his family. Excited and full of praise, Segun confirmed the development to the principal correspondent of the Kosofe Post on Monday. He expressed that his decision to leave was influenced by the current state of the country.

Segun, who had been an integral part of the Kosofe Post team in 2018, participating in the presentation of awards to incumbent lawmakers representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, such as Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye, Agboyi Ketu LCDA Chairman Mayor Dele Osinowo, Late Hon. Tunde Ibrahimoh, and others, is a diligent young businessman. He is among those affected by the various factors compelling individuals and private organizations to relocate.

The Japa movement continues to gain momentum as more young Nigerians seek better opportunities and a brighter future abroad. Segun’s decision to join the movement reflects the aspirations and challenges faced by many individuals in Nigeria.
