More than 400 children gathered at Toyibat Comprehensive High School in Medina Estate, Gbagada, to celebrate this year’s Children’s Day organized by Brainy Kiddies Consult LTD. The event, which featured an exciting Spelling Bee competition, was generously sponsored by prominent individuals including Alhaja Kafilah Adetola Ogbara, Hon. Olayinka Rabiu , Mrs. Osinowo, Mr. Niyi Yusuf, Engr Olukoya, and Nurse Mariam Bolatiwa.
Director of Brainy Kiddies Consult LTD, Akindele Mariam, expressed her gratitude for the sponsors’ contributions, stating that their support had left a lasting impact on the lives of the participating pupils. Brainy Kiddies Consult LTD is recognized for its commitment to creating a conducive academic environment for students while infusing an element of fun into their learning experiences.
The centerpiece of this year’s Children’s Day celebration was the highly anticipated Spelling Bee 2023. Akindele highlighted that the program was initiated because children represent a nation’s greatest asset and the future generation responsible for its development. She emphasized the need for a comprehensive agenda that spans at least 20 years, encompassing the critical stages of early childhood from birth to eight years old, which are often overlooked.
The Spelling Bee session saw enthusiastic participation from numerous schools, and the event drew attention to the importance of nurturing young minds through educational activities. Akindele acknowledged the significant support from sponsors such as Alhaja Kafilah Adetola Ogbara, Hon. Olayinka Rabiu, Mrs. Osinowo, Mr. Niyi Yusuf, Engr Olukoya, Nurse Mariam Bolatiwa, and many others, whose contributions enhanced the quality and success of this year’s Children’s Day celebration.
Among the participating schools, Morabek Nursery & Primary School emerged as the champions of the Spelling Bee competition, showcasing their exceptional language skills. Al-Iklas Private School secured the second position, impressing the audience with their spelling prowess, while FavourLand Nursery and Primary School claimed the third position, demonstrating their linguistic abilities.
The Children’s Day celebration organized by Brainy Kiddies Consult LTD provided a platform for young learners to showcase their talents and foster a love for learning.
