Oladigbo Oluwasogo Olalekan, popularly known as Olalekan Efficient, has been appointed as the Head of Programmes for Tungba FM Lagos and Tungba FM Osun. The announcement was made on Tuesday by Prince Gbolahan Odo, Chairman of Tungba Communication Ltd, heralding a new era for the renowned broadcaster.
With an impressive background in journalism, Olalekan Efficient brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He graduated from Osun State Polytechnic, Iree in 2010 and has since established himself as a prominent figure in the Nigerian media landscape. An active member of the Nigerian Guild of Investigative Journalists (NGIJ), Olalekan Efficient has consistently displayed his dedication to the craft.
Prior to joining Tungba FM Lagos in 2020, Olalekan Efficient worked as a freelance presenter with several esteemed radio stations, including the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, TopRadio 90.9FM, Sweet 107.9FM Abeokuta, and Root 97.1FM Abeokuta. His exceptional talent and charisma earned him the prestigious title of Best Male Presenter at the Sokoto State NYSC Orientation Broadcasting Service in 2011.
Since his arrival at Tungba FM Lagos, Olalekan Efficient has captivated listeners with his engaging programs, including the highly acclaimed “Politics Naija.” With this new appointment, the former Senior Political Correspondent will take on the responsibility of coordinating the programs for Tungba 100.9FM Lagos and Tungba 90.3FM Igbajo.
