Former HoR Hon. Yacoob Alebiosu’s Nomination as Commissioner Sparks Traffic of Well-Wishers

The nomination of Hon. Yacoob Ekundayo Alebiosu, a former Member of the House of Representatives representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, as a Commissioner in Lagos State, has resulted in an influx of well-wishers and supporters at his Mende Maryland residence.

The news of his nomination by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwoolu has garnered significant attention, drawing friends, political associates, public office holders, and supporters who thronged his home to congratulate him.

As per the report by The Kosofe Post, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu recently submitted Alebiosu’s name, along with 38 other nominees, to the Lagos State House of Assembly for approval as part of his proposed cabinet.

The Assembly is set to convene on Thursday, as revealed by insider information, to discuss the screening dates for the nominees, including Alebiosu.

Having served two terms as a House of Representatives Member and once as the Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Housing during the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon. Dayo Alebiosu brings a wealth of legislative experience to his new role. Due to his esteemed position as a Senior legislator, he is expected to be honored with the bow and go tradition, recognizing his contribution to the parliamentary sphere.
