Hon. Sanni Okanlawon, representing Kosofe constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, led a delegation of mourners to the ERUWEN area of Ikorodu. The visit was to offer heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Emina family following the untimely demise of Mrs. Adebayo Emina, who tragically passed away on a fateful Friday morning.
Hon. Okanlawon was accompanied by fellow APC members, including Hon. Ibrahim Mustapha and Oloye Seun Salami, as they gathered to mourn the loss and stand by the grieving family during this challenging time.
During the visit, Hon. Okanlawon expressed his deepest sympathies and urged the bereaved family to find solace in accepting the natural course of life, where the inevitability of death is beyond human control. He offered prayers for strength and comfort for the children and remaining members of the Emina family, beseeching for divine support in these trying times.
In response, the Emina family expressed their gratitude for the presence and kind words of Hon. Okanlawon and the accompanying delegation. The family announced that the final rites for the departed Mrs. Adebayo Emina will take place at a private cemetery in Ikorodu on Tuesday, August 29. This somber event will mark the family’s final farewell to their beloved, as they gather to remember her life and honor her memory.
