The Supreme Court of Nigeria has declared Lamidi Apapa as the National Chairman of theLabour Party, LP.
The party’s leadership crisis took a new twist as the court on Thursday, September 28, 2023 affirmed the decision of the Appeal Court sacking Julius Abure.
It will be recalled that that the appellate
judgement had recognized Lamidi Apapa as
National Chairman and direct Independent
National Electoral Commission, INEC, to deal with Lamidi in terms of candidates of the party for the coming Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa governorship elections.
