In a bid to reduce governance costs, the local government opted for a one-day retreat within Lagos, a move strategically aligned with achieving budget goals while minimizing expenses.

Fadipe counters the insinuations of impropriety regarding councilors’ overseas trips, highlighting that these were consistent with those attended by chairpersons across Lagos’s local government councils. The response emphasizes the importance of constructive criticism over personal bias.
