Kosofe Post Publisher, Abayomi Bilesanmi, fondly known as KOKO, marked a significant milestone on Monday, December 18, as birthday wishes poured in from distinguished personalities, including Honourable Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Arch. Yacoob Ekundayo Alebiosu-Bush, among others.

Hon. Alebiosu-Bush, in a heartfelt message, celebrated the exceptional qualities of the celebrant. He praised Bilesanmi’s dedication to community journalism, describing him as a voice for the voiceless, highlighting the struggles of the downtrodden. The Commissioner acknowledged the publisher’s professionalism, accuracy in grassroots information dissemination, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Kosofe Federal Constituency and Lagos state. He wished Abayomi more years of health and prosperity.

The Olu Agboyi-in-Council, led by HRM Oba (Engr) Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, Akinmasa I, Arole Owoyele, the 4th Olu of Agboyi Kingdom, also extended warm birthday greetings with royal blessings to Abayomi Bilesanmi, recognizing his contributions to journalism.

Pro Yoruba Nation Champion, Comrade Sulaiman Mojeed, commended the publisher’s distinguished efforts in journalism, highlighting his pursuit of professionalism, astute journalism, and tenacity in the face of socio-political challenges. Mojeed praised Bilesanmi’s commitment to unbiased reporting, emphasizing that his upright stance against tokenism from public officers in exchange for independent reporting is worthy of celebration.

The Oseni, Sylvia Crescent, and Odunlami Community Development Association (O.S.O CDA), Kosofe, represented by Olalekan Odujirin and the executives, joined the chorus of birthday celebrations, expressing gratitude for Bilesanmi’s contributions as a renowned international media guru.
