Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, extended warm wishes to the residents of Kosofe, acknowledging their support and contributions to the achievements of the local government.
According to a press statement issued by the Public Affairs Unit on the eve of December 31, 2023, Chairman Ogunlewe expressed his felicitations, stating, “As the year 2023 rolls its carpet and the year 2024 is knocking, I wish you all a happy new year with encompassing spirits of hope and vitality which accompany the year 2024 and also acknowledge your collective and individual efforts in ensuring the attainment of our goals and objectives.”
“These values,” he explained, “include but are not limited to innovation, networking, unity of purpose, teamwork, tolerance, peaceful co-existence, transparency, and accountability, among others.”
Chairman Ogunlewe urged residents to enhance their cooperation with the government to dispense more dividends of democracy, emphasizing that their collaboration would usher in more opportunities and a brighter, rewarding administrative year.
He offered prayers for bountiful harvest and progress among the residents, staff of the council, and other stakeholders.
