Barr Moyosore Ogunlewe, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, has extended warm wishes to the Oloworo of Oworonsonki Kingdom, Oba Babatunde Saliu, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary. The chairman expressed his admiration for the monarch’s life and reign in a statement released on Monday.
As the sun illuminated the day, Chairman Ogunlewe felt honored to join the chorus of voices celebrating Oba Babatunde Saliu’s remarkable life and stewardship. In his statement, Ogunlewe wished for the Oloworo’s path to be enriched with the colors of wisdom and his journey guided by the ancestral spirits. He commended the monarch for being a stronghold of unity and advancement for Oworonsoki.
“May the joyous melodies of celebration resound throughout your majestic realm as your subjects honor your empathetic stewardship,” remarked Chairman Ogunlewe, acknowledging the significance of the monarch’s birthday.
The chairman’s prayers extended to the enduring reign of Oba Babatunde Saliu, hoping that the esteemed Oloworo continues to lead Oworonshoki with grace and wisdom for years to come.
Additionally, Chairman Ogunlewe prayed for more triumphs in the coming year under the monarch’s wise and generous leadership. The statement concluded with warm birthday wishes, adorned with a traditional Yoruba phrase, “Kabiyesi! Kádé pẹ́ lórí, kí bàtà pẹ́ lẹ́sẹ̀, kẹ́ṣin ọba ó jẹko pẹ́,” signifying respect and best wishes for the royal celebrant.
