Honorable Moyosore Ogunlewe, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, has brought light and joy to the Kosofe community. With a magnanimous gesture, he presented a formidable 500KVA electricity transformer to both the Millennium Estate Community Development Association (CDA) and the Bakare-Bello Market community, heralding a brighter future for all.
The groundbreaking initiative was revealed by Comrade Oluwole Obisanya, Acting Chief Press Secretary to Kosofe Local Government, on Monday. According to him, this generous act holds immense significance for the Bakare-Bello Market community, which has endured twelve long years without electricity. The joyous unveiling event marks the beginning of a new era of economic revitalization and an improved quality of life. Similarly, the Millennium Estate CDA is set to benefit, ensuring residents enjoy greater power stability for enhanced comfort and security.
During the event, Engr Soji Adeniji, the dedicated CDA chairman for Millennium Estate, expressed sincere appreciation for the transformative initiative. He eagerly discussed the positive impact it would bring to the community’s overall welfare and development. Elder Samson Adeaga JP, the General Secretary of Kosofe Local Government Market Associations, represented the bustling Bakare-Bello Market. He joyfully shared the end of the long-standing struggle with power shortage, enthusiastically praising the potential for a revitalized economy and enhanced safety with the introduction of dependable electricity access.
The symbolic transformers were officially handed over to Engr Soji Adeniji of Millennium Estate CDA and Mrs Folakemi Obanibasiri, the Iyaloja General of Kosofe Local Government, respectively.
